Business Plan
We are thrilled to announce that this year’s 2026 Business Plan Competition will be held in partnership with BYU-Pathway Worldwide in Cebu, Philippines!
Please note that there will be a few changes to our previous format, as well as to the prize money awarded. This year, only the traditional business plan portion of the competition will be judged virtually. Anyone wishing to participate in the “Great Idea” segment must attend the conference in person, as that portion will be judged live on-site.
We are incredibly excited about this new format and look forward to seeing you all in Cebu on November 13th and 14th!

Important Timeline Information 2026
Submit Interest
Competed In No Business Competition
- Due July 2026 – Submit your interest
- It is highly recommended that contestants undergo ACE, MBS, or other training and have a mentor.
- Must show that the local chapter had no business plan to participate in.
- Videos and presentations must be in English or be translated.
Submit Plan
Chapter Business Plan Applicants.
- Due 30 August 2026
- It is highly recommended that contestants do training with ACE, MBS, or other training.
- August 30th submit your businessw plan to be judged.
- Judging in semi-finals based on business plan and video. No live presentation or Q&A.
- HIghly recommended that you carefully read the BYU MS and BYU Pathway rules book.
Finals
Nov 13-14th – Cebu, Philiopines
- Winners will be announced at the BYU MS Conference in Cebu. Philippines Nov 13th and 14th.
- Great idea competition will be conducted ONLY in-person. .
- The business plan competition is in English. If needed, candidates should arrange their own translations.
